About Dread

Competition

To define Dread in the simplest term would be pure competitiveness. This is the sole reason why we exist, to dominate the competition in every aspect of gaming. We strive to be the best at everything we do. This goal is exemplified in our gaming achievements over the years.

Dread is always the guild to reach the top first. We always have the first players to reach level cap, the first guild to take down high end raid content, the guild that people run away from in open PvP because they know they will get steam rolled. We are the guild that is kicking everyones ass.

Loyalty

Being part of dread requires loyalty to the guild. Our members know that ultimately the guild comes first and together we will accomplish total domination.

Reward

By contributing to the guild via attending raids, donation gold or resources, or running instance the guild will in turn give back to you. This is accomplish through the DKP system which rewards players with high end raid gear or guild crafted gear , medals through the website, and also the Prestige that comes with being the best damn guild around.

Also your time and efforts contributed to the guild will be aided with:
        - Gaining raid priority
        - Leading your own pvp or raid divisions
        - Being promoted to a leadership position

Experience

Our guild members are extremely experienced in MMOs. We come from various backgrounds such as EQ, EQ2, WOW, L2, DAOC, WARHAMMER, AOC, SWG, LOTR. The majority of our members have held leadership positions the various games they have played. This creates an environment where people a similar set of goals and an understanding of what it takes to accomplish these goals.

In AoC we dominated the competition obtaining all Tier 2 World First Boss Kills and 2 of 3 Tier 1 World First Boss Kills. In Warhammer we were ranked the #1 Guild Worldwide with the highest RvR Rank and Highest RvR Ratio per member. This was due to the guild hardcore desire for pvp.

Brotherhood

Dread is about being part of a brotherhood. As a part of the guild you will understand that the people you fight, live, and communicate with everyday will be there for you no matter what.

Guild Ranks

Guild Leader
        - Overall Leader



Inner Council
        - Council to the Guild Leaders. The Council aid the guild leaders in running the guild. Duties involve daily maintenance of guild systems, planning events, furthering the goals of the guild, advertising, and growth of the guild in general. This is a leadership position of high responsibility, requiring daily dedication.



Officer
        - Administrative Officer are responsible for recruitment, and handling social/game related issues etc. Officers deal primarily with disputes between members, as well as serving as liasons between other guilds. They are responsible for maintaining our public image. This is a leadership/moderator position based off of social and diplomatic skills.



Division Leader
        - Division Leader lead squads in raids/large scale pvp. They are responsible for maintaining readiness and preparation, whether this be making sure gear is up to par or improving player skill, of their squads. This is a leadership position based off of skill and ability to perform as a leader.



Senior Member
        - Prestige Rank assigned to members after 1 years dedication the guild.



Junior Member
        - Prestige Rank assigned to members after 6 months service in the guild.



Member
        - Rank assigned to core members.



Applicant
        - Rank assigned to new recruits undergoing their 2 week trial period.
